Articulation Exercise for Singers

What makes singers unique to every other instrument, is that we have the ability to sing lyrics. Lyrics can make or break a song and they allow us to tell stories and tap into memories and emotions. So what happens if you mumble and your audience can’t hear your lyrics properly? They get frustrated!!!

Articulation in singing refers to how clearly you say your lyrics, and quite often, singers THINK they are singing clearly, but in actual fact they are not articulating nearly enough. So, try this fun articulation exercise with me and let’s get to work making sure your audience can hear every word you’re saying.
