Shopping At The Polkadot Vintage Markets
…AND ALL MANNER OF ODDITY SWARMED AROUND US LIKE BEES fUSSING OVER A HIVE
Every six months or so there’s a Polkadot Vintage Market thrown somewhere in Perth, WA. I hadn’t been before so I wanted to check it out and took my trusty sidekick ‘Princess Sophia’ along with me.
We found sunnies that made us look like bugs, green shoes and all manner of wondrous oddity that you buy in the moment and forever regret.
At one point I cam dangerously close to buying some grossly overpriced pink polkadot heels with red ribbons on the front… but fortunately sanity prevailed.

WHY ‘PRINCESS SOPHIA’??
That’s a very good question.
It was a ‘Shrek/ How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days’ movie reference that stuck after I used it to remembered Sophia’s name when I first met her. You know the scene… when Kate Hudson’s character refers to Matthew McConaughey’s nether regions as ‘Princess Sophia’. 😉
